For seven generations the Henriot family has been producing Champagne. Founded in 1808, it is one of the few remaining great houses of Champagne to remain family owned. It has been the Champagne of choice for the Austrian Royal court, giving weight to the name of the Brut Souverain Cuvee. The wines speak of quality and purity with a consistent balance of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from the Brut Souverain through to the rare Cuvee des Enchanteleurs. The only exception being the flagship Blanc de Blancs, showing purity depth and finesse.
All of the wines exceed the ageing requirements of their region, the family prefers to wait until the wines are at there optimal point before being released into the market. It is a credit to the family to allow for such a financial commitment in the face of commercial pressures. The pursuit of excellence remains constant and with the recent promotion of Thomas Henriot as CEO of the company the family's commitment to the wine has never been stronger.
