Chateau La Nerthe

Château La Nerthe is one of the most historic estates in Châteauneuf-du-Pape with a history dating back to 1560.Considered one of the finest producers in the region , the estate has plantings of all thirteen permitted varietals for the appellation & the average vine age is over 40 years old. The Estate has been certified organic since 1998 and the vineyard holdings are located in some of the finest terroirs of Châteauneuf including the plateau of La Crau which is known for the distinctive galets stones that surround the vines. All fruit is handpicked and all wines are made exclusively from estate grown fruit , the Les Cassanges wines are made from estate vineyards that are 15km North of Châteauneuf-du-Pape and offer tremendous value from this prestigious property.
