The Tommasi family have been producing wine in the famed Valpolicella region for over 100 years. From humble beginnings the family are now one of the best known producers in the area and have over 200 hectares of Estate owned vineyards in the region. The wines are produced mainly from the local red varieties of Corvina , Rondinella and Corvinone. A respect for tradition sees large format Slovenian oak used for ageing which helps showcase the elegance and balance that the Estate strives to convey in the wines including the flagship Amarone DOCG that is aged for 3 years before release and is considered one of the great wines of the region. Tommasi is synonymous with Amarone throughout Italy & the World & is one of the most respected family names in Italian wine.
